On August 7, we will be closing our current Waynesboro location to open a full-service branch located at 19 Myers Corner Dr, Suite A-01, Staunton, VA 24401. The new full-service Fishersville branch will be open beginning August 8.
Why is the branch moving?
Due to growth in the Fishersville and Staunton area, we have decided to move our branch to a location that is more accessible to our members. The new Fishersville branch will be close in size to our current Waynesboro location.
When is the branch moving?
The branch move will take place on Monday, August 7. As a result, the Waynesboro and Fishersville branches will be closed during the relocation on August 7, and the Fishersville location will resume normal business hours as a full-service branch beginning Tuesday, August 8.
Where is the new branch located?
The new branch is at 19 Myers Corner Dr, Suite A-01, Staunton, VA 24401. This location is currently the ValleyStar Loan Processing Center.
Will the branch maintain the same business hours?
There will not be any changes to the operating hours due to the move.
What is happening to the employees at this branch?
All employees from the Waynesboro branch are moving to the Fishersville location, so you will continue to see the same friendly faces you see today.
What will happen to my accounts during the move?
Your accounts will remain active and unaffected by the branch move.
Can I access my funds and conduct transactions during the move?
Although the Waynesboro and Fishersville branch locations will not be available on August 7, you can continue to access your funds and conduct transactions during the move electronically with ValleyStar Mobile and Online Banking or at any of our other branch locations and ATMs.
Will there be any changes to the services offered at the new branch?
The new branch location will continue to offer our current services. However, the new location will not have a drive-thru.
Will there be a grand opening event at the new branch?
We are excited to open this new full-service branch location in Fishersville and are planning a branch opening event. Further details will be provided to members closer to the event date.
